Application Process

Follow these 5 easy step to complete your application:

  • Complete our online form for a call back
  • Receive email correspondence for all supporting documentation
  • Receive invoice

  • Send all supporting documentation
  • Send proof of payment

On the day of your appointment please plan to arrive 15 minutes early at the Visa Facilitation Centre. Bring your valid passport or travel document.

Important note: You will not be able to submit further documents once your application has been submitted at the Visa Facilitation Centre. The documents that you submitted at the time you made your application will be the only documents that are considered.

Enroll your fingerprints and photograph at the Visa Facilitation Centre. This includes a digital finger scan (all 10 digits) and a digital photograph. The finger scan procedure uses an electronic scanner. No ink, liquid or chemical. You should ensure that your fingertips are free from any forms of decoration (for example, henna), cuts, abrasions or other markings as these may affect your ability to provide acceptable finger scans. Your digital photograph must be taken with full face and without sunglasses or tinted spectacles, or head covering unless it is worn for religious or medical reasons. Your face should be clearly visible with no hair across the eyes. We cannot process your visa if you do not submit your biometric information. All children and infants will also provide their biometric data as required by Department of Home Affairs.

For your South African VISA permit; you can track your application online.  All other VISA permits; please email admin@foreignassist.co.za.  Once a decision has been made, we will collect the decision in person from the Visa Facilitation Centre with the necessary required information

The original passport will be required as proof of the applicant’s identity and handing over of the visa label or refusal letter to applicants.

Processed applications will not be returned to applicants / representatives in case they fail to submit the below:

  • original passport of the applicant at the time of submission of application,
  • original Invoice Cum Receipt
  • SAPS issued affidavit (where applicable)
  • Valid signed power of attorney (where applicable)

Collection timings: 10:00 – 15:00 (Monday – Friday except public holidays)

We must provide an original Photo ID, a power of attorney Letter as well as the applicant’s original passport if collecting the decision on behalf of the applicant/s. The power of attorney Letter should clearly state the following: –

  1. Name of the Representative collecting the decision.
  2. Photo ID number of the Representative.
  3. Applicant signature as signed on the Invoice Cum Receipt and passport.

The Invoice Cum Receipt provided on the day of submission (photocopy not allowed) will be required in original where the applicant has authorized a representative to collect on their behalf.

Where the applicant has lost / misplaced the original receipt, an affidavit issued by The South African Police Services will be required.

Processed applications WILL NOT be returned to representatives where he/she fails to submit any of the above requirements at the time of collection.

PROCESSING TIME

Applications are assessed individually and time frames may vary, therefore you are kindly requested to wait until a decision on your application is taken and is ready for collection, as Foreign Assist cannot control or influence the processing times in any way.
